I like hard truths. They’re the start of a great strategy and an honest conversation. It’s how minds change. For allergy ads, that meant joking with people about their muddling behaviors in juuust the right way. They got the point and we all laughed about it. Then people took their dang allergy meds. Really, though. We became #1 in the market despite a much smaller media spend and Nielsen named “Carpool” their most memorable allergy spot with one of the strongest brand messages ever reported.

My parents were partiers, so my inner child became equal parts buttoned-up and free-spirited. The end result is a leader who runs a tight ship and loves an open sea. It’s how I get further, faster. And it’s how my first project as team lead, a promotion on Marlboro.com, did more with less. We not only saved money reimagining old content, we problem solved a failed product launch with a simple, powerful creative idea that re-engaged more lapsed site visitors than ever before.
